If you're anything like me, your new years resolutions were a list of all the places you have to eat in 2013. One for your list, recently crossed off mine is Upstairs @ Ten Bells in Shoreditch but I'm guaranteed to be back soon. The neighbouring St. John is of course lovely, but if you're not in the mood for offal (so surely that's most of the time), but you are feeling meat lust a little like Henry VIII (also most of the time in January no?), here's your baby. I ate there with 10 of my oldest, bestest friends. Lunch stretched into a long afternoon of eating, drinking and merriment.
We ate:

| I love making my own cheese straws. Friends have mocked me in the past but so what if it's a little 90s - with the addition of rosemary and rock salt you can't go wrong. |
