"What I see"

I was lucky enough to go to The What I See project opening party at The Science Museum last week. The project is a new online space that asks women across the generations to explore what they see when they look in the mirror. It's a simple question that's being asked but the responses are complex and vary from: 'Wrinkles' through to 'Someone who's trying to find themselves', or just 'My mother!!'

As a global snapshot of women right now - both our similarities and our differences in attitudes - it's fantastic. As the starting point of a changing picture, it's even more exciting. Check them out and, or contribute here. The physical display that they launched with is currently touring the country so if there's going to be one near you, then try to go along. You'll meet some wonderful women apart from anything else.

Edwina Dunn, the project's founder is a real inspiration and wonderful role model. I'm going to be keeping an eye out for where the project goes to next.
